Consider McCain's quote to the New York Times about gay couples adopting:Mr. McCain, who with his wife, Cindy, has an adopted daughter, said flatly that he opposed allowing gay couples to adopt. “I think that we’ve proven that both parents are important in the success of a family so, no, I don’t believe in gay adoption,” he said.
What's wrong with that statement? And I don't mean morally, I mean logically.
Uh...gay couples would still provide two parents...his statement is actually an argument against single people adopting.
Mr. McCain, I offer you my favorite quote: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
